I'm back with a bang!

Today was a good day. Ate food with my family, took a walk around the fort, and most importantly, got to watch the fireworks at he mall of Asia.

We paid for a second floor seat and saw the performance. Tonight's performance was a competition between china and Australia. They were both outstanding. China had a beautiful choreographed firework show. Everything timed well with the music and there were a couple of "OUHHHH" moments. Everyone was on the edge of their seat.

Australia (although not as well timed in a performance aspect) did something I have never seen before. LOW FLYING FIREWORKS. So low, that they touched the water! In addition to that were some parachute lights that flickered in the night. I was like, "when are they going away?". They didn't. And the longer they stayed the more people realized how truly special these lights were.

Life is magnificent and its great how a couple of bright lights and millions of people could make you excited and proud to be human.

Feeling great.

It's 4:00 in the morning. I'm designing for our magazine which is to be printed next week. I should be sleepy, tired, delirious.

I should be giving up.

But I'm not. Not tonight.

This idea, the thought of spreading positive ideas while showing people a positive way to live life is just so...invigorating.

Never have I felt like I've been part of something so great and vast. I'm finally creating something that will directly benefit people.

So sleepy? Maybe a little. If I close my eyes for a couple of seconds I'd probably feel it. But no. Not tonight.

I believe in WU manila. And I believe in the good that it'll bring people. Just watch us.

A smile at Starbucks

I love great service. Especially when it comes out of nowhere. While walking to my movie in Rockwell power plant, I picked up a drink at Starbucks and was graced by jaric, charm, and glen. I couldn't help but to talk to these three about my bad service encounter with Jamaican patty (I only have a grudge against that one particular store. Not the brand). Good service is had to find. So when I find it its just like finding treasure. Thanks guys. You really made my day.

Widus- Salt Resturaunt

We decided to stay in today and eat at widus's Resturaunt "SALT". Right off the bat, the staff was very warm and inviting, the waiters prompt, and the waiters VERY attentive to our needs. 1st class service all da' way.

I noticed as I went in, this place feels really posh. Not "I'm a snob posh" more like, "this is what heaven feels like posh". pretty stoaked being in a open room and not some super cramped Resturaunt.

I love it!

Order time! Today I got their fish and chips. Very delicious. I'm a French fry buff and I thought their fried were pretty good. A standard "country club" French fries.

The fish itself was great. It came also with their special sauce.

If your in the mood for good prices, great food and awesome dining, eat at salt! I really liked it.

Thanks widus!

You know what's really inspiring? Help.

Widus in Clark did us a favor and helped us feature them by letting us stay at their facilities. I've never been so happy! More coming up!!

Philippines national dive team

10 meters down. Feet first thank god. "10 sounds so much better than 30", I think to myself walking up to the platform.

As i was talking to Mikal from the punta Fuego resort, he tells me that next month they're is going to have a cliff dive competition. And knowing me, if there is something crazy exciting to do, I'm going to go for it (as long as I can get out of it with life and limb that is.

So follow me on this month's how ron does it. Every wed- sat 0I will be posting on my failures and successes.

Seattles best coffee

Got up early this morning to train with the High Diving team and stopped by Seattle's Best for a cup of coffee to get my brain going.

As a big brand, I have been Wondering if their coffee is really Worth 100 peso for a Small

In a nutshell, I would have to say no. The coffee itself was good, but the 100 Peso price tag was a bit high for plain coffee. Never the less I enjoyed my coffee and it did wake me up.

I got the Iphone 5!!! YEAA

Yessss!! Today is monumental. I got the iPhone 5 along with Ron and his note 2. I hope this new technology will just open more doors into making our stuff even better! Take that cruel world!!

Old heroes

Today i watched the last stand. a action flick with the former governor of california. Growing up in the 80's and 90's I saw a lot of Arnold movies. I gotta give the man props for sticking in the Hollywood scene.

Takes a lot of guts to be that old still stick in the game. I really enjoyed the movie but most importantly I enjoyed Him trying to still have people remember him. Unlike my brother in law, I find it cool to get back in the action scene despite the trolls of the world.

Grateful

I'm grateful.

Each day I live gets better. It's such a awesome feeling to be working on a magazine that has the same values I care about. I love inspiring people and this magazine (I feel) is the vehicle to do that. To promote something positive.

I'm happy with my life and with WU manila it's just gonna get better.

Cast of characters

I'm here in afters cafe with my brother in law Ron McCormick, waiting for an interview. It's times like this that make me happy. Not only because this is OUR JOB (pretty sweet!) but because it gives me a chance to dream up ideas for my story.

It's not yet done, but everyday on my free time I love to get my red journal and dream up the details and characters of my story. It's pretty exciting stuff.

Hello! Welcome to inspire me!!

Hello! 8-bit here. Many times (more often than not) in my life something dark and dreary rears its head in my life. To fight this I decided to take matters into my own hands and start something good. Away from all the muck and mire life throws at me.

This is a short sweet blog of all the people, places, and things that inspire me.

Anything amazing or positive gets written down here whether its a great cartoon series, a fun experience, or a warm summers day.

So here I am in the heart of manila, waiting for something amazing happen. I hope you too will inspire me as well!
